D Vitamins

Vitamin D helps maintain healthy bones by stimulating the absorption of calcium in the body. Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin. We have the ability to make vitamin D in our skin when exposed to sunlight. Therefore, it is recommended for people not exposed to the sun or those living in the northern latitudes to supplement with vitamin D. The population at highest risk for deficiency is the elderly and dark skinned individuals. We utilize two sources of vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) in our formulas:

1. Fish Liver Oil

2. Wool Oil Lanolin (considered vegetarian)
