Gluten Free

For years, we’ve provided full disclosure of our products’ ingredients, including what ingredients are not contained in the product .Our “Contains No” statement lists gluten where applicable. For years we’ve gone one step further in assuring the gluten free status of our products by testing our finished products for gluten. We’re also highlighting the gluten free status with a logo on the front panel of our labels. This helps your consumers quickly recognize the gluten free status without having to search for it elsewhere on the label.

We confirm that none of the products we offer contain more than 10 ppm gluten, and use this logo on the front panel of the label.

Your customers will clearly see which of our dietary supplements are gluten free by the logo on the front panel of the label. They can also take comfort knowing that our products labeled with the logo have undergone in-house analytical testing for gluten (tested to contain no more than 10 ppm, or parts per million of gluten), to ensure they are gluten free.    Our program provides a consistent, science-based set of standards that helps consumers easily choose our premium supplements. An estimated 12 million people follow a gluten free diet. One in 133 has Celiac disease and more remain undiagnosed. Dietary supplements are important for those on a gluten free diet, as a gluten free diet often lacks certain vitamins and minerals, and many have nutrient malabsorption. Be prepared for National Celiac Awareness month in May and highlight our Double Verified Gluten Free Guaranteed Program logo on your labels!

In mid-2013 the FDA announced a decision defining Gluten Free as 20ppm, more than double what we allow in products.

All of Vitamer Labs finished products undergo gluten testing using an ELISA (Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) procedure (a machine that detects the presence of an antigen in a sample) to detect the presence of gluten.
