We phased this logo onto the labels of the products tested, beginning in the last quarter of 2009.

We confirm that none of the products we offer contain more than 10 ppm gluten, and use this logo on the front panel of the label.


An estimated 12 million people follow a gluten free diet. One in 133 has Celiac disease and more remain undiagnosed. Your customers will clearly see which of our dietary supplements are gluten free by the logo on the front panel of the label. They can also take comfort knowing that our products labeled with the logo have undergone in-house analytical testing for gluten (tested to contain no more than 10 ppm, or parts per million of gluten), to ensure they are gluten free.    Our program provides a consistent, science-based set of standards that helps consumers easily choose our premium supplements.

In mid-2013 the FDA announced a decision defining Gluten Free as 20ppm, more than double what we allow in products.

All of Vitamer Labs finished products undergo gluten testing using an ELISA (Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) procedure (a machine that detects the presence of an antigen in a sample) to detect the presence of gluten
